Leisure ActivitiesThe Molino del Alto Ebro gives its guests the
chance to enjoy one of the most unspoilt and unknown valleys of
Cantabria where the incomparable natural surroundings seem to have
stopped in time.. In Mount Hijedo you will find an impressive forest of beeches and oaks which is the largest wooded area of its type in Northern Spain and the second largest in Spain. Why not walk along the beautiful paths near the river Ebro – A pathway of 50 kms is being restored – or lose yourself in the secluded Páramo de la Lora, explore the route of the abandoned villages, enjoy the route of the Ebro Canyons, admire the birds of prey flying over or become bewitched looking at the stars from the Cantabria astronomic observatory... And of course a great variety of adventure sports is also on offer such as climbing rafting, balloon rides, hydrospeed etc… This valley converts any activity such as walking or cycling in its dales and woods, into a new experience for the five senses and still more if you are lucky enough to see some examples of the local wildlife. And after a day dedicated to mind and body what could be better than a deserved rest for your spirit enjoying our swimming pool and Turkish bath in the gardens, cooking a barbecue under the starry summer-night skies, or having a drink in our pretty lounge with its glass floor beneath which you can see the water flowing.
